Our story
"The story of Bahe Studio begins with a true love for fashion, styling and design. My little jewelry universe started as a cozy project in parallel with me studying design technology in Copenhagen. After I graduated, I decided to pursue my dream of creating unique jewelry pieces that will make YOU feel beautiful and special in any occasion - and suddenly Bahe Studio was born in earnest.
Our vision is to focus on minimalist aesthetics, good quality, sustainability, and of course the materials we choose. Slow fashion is a keyword for us, we do not produce to produce, but produce according to demand. That is also why we don’t publish new and voluminous collections several times a year.
Inspiration can arise out of everything, but mostly I’m getting inspired by my own journey. Either from old memories, people I love, traveling the world or nature just around the corner. That results in my way of creating storytelling in the form of jewelry pieces. I hope you will love wearing your Bahe item and continue the relay on your journey.
All our products are designed in Denmark and ethically handcrafted in India by our dear supplier Rajesh and the rest of his amazing and talented crew. We are proud to work with such passionate goldsmiths with many years of experience - a family business that was established four generations ago.
Our pieces are made from brass which is either silver plated or plated with 18 carat gold. We only use natural crystals such as quartz, moonstone, etc. We also take responsibility in regards to material consumption and of course the environment. Therefore, we use recycled brass which is done by remelting old collections and by seeking for used brass that we melt and reuse.
As a bonus, our small jewelry bags are made from organic deadstock cotton, instead of using conventional fabrics, cardboard or plastic.
